Crynodeb:The aim of this book is to discuss certain aspects of Sports Law in Europe, taking Europe not in the narrow sense of the European Union but as the continent. In a book of this nature not all issues can be covered and of necessity the author has been selective. Chapter I concerns certain methodological issues in general concerning Sports Law, Chapter II the issue of injustice in sport with an emphasis on Greece. Chapter III looks at certain issues of EU law and how they apply to sports while Chapter IV addresses broadcasting of sports events. Chapter V presents issues concerning judicial competence in sport, which concerns the CAS to some extent, while Chapter VI focuses more specifically on the CAS, as a European based institution for resolving sport disputes.
